In these roles, he has consistently demonstrated his strong analytical and critical thinking skills, excelling in problem-solving and decision-making.
Parallel to his corporate career, Thao has served as an Officer in the U.S. Army, a role that has allowed him to hone and apply his leadership skills in high-pressure situations. His exceptional performance in the military has earned him recognition for his leadership abilities.
In the commercial real estate sector, Thao leverages his financial and analytical skills to identify and capitalize on value-add and opportunistic investments. His strategic approach to real estate investment, combined with his commitment to delivering high returns for investors, has positioned him as a trusted leader in the industry.

Shawn Johanson

His diverse portfolio includes a range of commercial assets such as retail shopping centers, office buildings, mixed-use properties, industrial buildings, and multi-family complexes in Class A or B locations. His advanced knowledge of real estate market trends, coupled with his financial acumen, has earned him the trust of several private investors.
Before his successful venture into real estate, Shawn spent five years as a loan originator for General Electric and worked in collections. His interest in real estate was sparked by Robert Kiyosaki’s Rich Dad book series and seminars, which led him to earn his real estate license.
In addition to his professional achievements, Shawn is committed to giving back to the community. He supports Junior Achievement, a program that promotes financial literacy and education for students and young adults, and Give Us Wings, an organization focused on rebuilding villages through health care, education, and economic sustainability in Kenya and Uganda. As a dyslexic individual, Shawn also advocates for dyslexia education and works towards bringing awareness into public school systems and making resources affordable for those diagnosed with dyslexia.

He has been involved in a diverse range of projects, from the repositioning and stabilization of a 94,000 sqft Retail plaza in Worcester, MA, to the redevelopment of a dilapidated 100K sqft plaza in Fountain, CO into a brand new 13-acre mixed-use commercial development. He has also worked on residential developments, including a 204-unit residential tower in partnership with the University of Winnipeg and a 37-unit residential project in Victoria, BC.
In addition to his real estate acumen, Sandy is also well-versed in investor relations and has a reputation for building strong relationships with stakeholders. His extensive and diversified experience makes him an invaluable asset to Eyrie Capital Group, where he provides strategic guidance and insights to drive growth and success in the commercial real estate industry.
